There is a way you can get an elert sms on your mobile for each email you receive in your mail account...
HOW?
There is one website named http://www.way2sms.com/ to send messages- free all over India.
You need to register yourself with http://www.way2sms.com/. Once you register, you can use this site to send 100 sms free, daily all over India.
But, here we will talk about the email alerts only. This site has been upgraded recently and is providing the facility to open an email account.
Hence, you need to open an email account with it;
Your email id would be like this; xxxxxxxxxx@way2sms.com.
And now, You have to go to the routine mail account of yours. (the one you need to get alerts from)
Go to the setting.
Open the 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP'.Now instruct the provider to send you the copy of each mail to your xxxxxx@way2sms.com.
Go to the way2sms.com and confirm the matter.
And as i said,
you will receive alerts for your each mail in the routine account of yours.
And here is a green sentence for you all.............
GENERALLY IT IS CHARGABLE WITH OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS; BUT HERE ITS FREEEEEEE.

SMS alert for emails is excellent service by way2sms and thanks to Harbhadrasinh for sharing this information. It works fine but not without problem. And the problem is the sms box is full with alerts.... One gets tired of deleting all those alerts for spam emails or group/bulk emails... Earlier it was only to clear mail box, now the task is doubled. One has to clear sms box also...
Its really works for those who don't have time to check their email regularly.
